The Office of the Agricultural Counsellor of the Royal Netherlands Embassy represents the Netherlands Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality. The Office functions as a liaison between the Dutch agriculture, food and agribusiness, fisheries and organisations in the field of nature management and nature conservation and the counterparts in Russia and Kazakhstan. Besides, it stimulates co-operation (in the field) of agricultural, educational and research institutions between the Netherlands and counterparts and it promotes exchange programs of young farmers, students and managers.

Main goals of the Office of the Agricultural Counsellor are:

• Promotion of Dutch agribusiness and services to Russia and Kazakhstan. (see also information on PSO, programme of economic co-operation);
• Mediation in finding trading partners for imports from the Netherlands (see also information on PSO, programme of economic co-operation);
• Survey of the market concerning products, countries, regions (for overview of reports, click here);
• Information services for every sector in the field of agriculture, nature management, fisheries;
• Providing information on veterinary and phytosanitary certificates;
• Assistance and financial support of projects in the field of Nature Conservation (for more information about KNIP, click here).
